Ngamba Chimpanzee Island:

Tours and visits to  chimpanzees at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary are a unique experience and opportunity to enter the world of the chimpanzee.  They are our closest living relatives who are under threat of extinction unless we do something to help them.

Interact with chimpanzees on their own island.  This is a once in a lifetime experience and well worth investing a day of your stay in Uganda.

You will visit Ngamba Island departing from Entebbe by a motorized canoe. The chimps here have been rescued from or have been orphaned by poachers.
