Kibale Forest National Park

Kibale is a an extensive National Park protecting a large block of rainforest that offers some excellent primate walks, bird watching and forest walks. It is a home to an astonishing 12 species of primates and provides one of the highest primate densities in the world. This diverse park supports 351 tree and shrub species with the most dominant ones being Parnari and Cynomentra Celtis medium altitude forest, forest/savanna mosaic, Accasia-Albizia. The forest has the highest diversity and density of primates in Africa totaling to 13 species including the black and white tailed colombus monkey, pottos, etc. The park also hosts 325 species of birds including the yellow rumped tinker-bird, yellow spotted nicator, little green bull among others.

Kibale is a place that should you be on your list to visit while you are in Uganda.

The sights and sounds are simply awesome.  Everything up close and visible.  Take it all in and simply enjoy the best place in Africa, Uganda.
